The Greatest Weapon in the world

The Greatest Weapon in the World was my second small object installation.

The work focused on what we carry with us each day. It asked questions about choice, about our ability to carry peace or war with us, and the impact that choice has on those around us. It is about the small individual acts and their impact on our relationships and communities.

It is a small object art installation, intended to be carried with you, as something to look at and something to stimulate you to respond to peace.

I define peace not as passivity or the absence of conflict, but the intentional carrying of qualities like hope, forgiveness, safety, courage, justice and love, in to a place of conflict. In that sense we have the ability to bring peace into conflict.
